With the new school year upon us, the LaSalle Sr. Girls Basketball Team has already started training several times a week preparing for a long and memorable season. Last season was highlighted with a WESBL Championship and capturing Gold Medals at Les Jeux de Montréal. This season, the LaSalle Sr. Girls will sport new black jerseys to their multitude of games and tournaments.
The girls will participate in various exhibition games in the month of October before kicking off the season on November 2, 2019 at the Festival de Mini Basket Lucien-Pagé. Later that month the students will additionally compete at the RSEQ Lac-St-Louis ‘Festival des Faucons’.
The LaSalle Girls Basketball Program continues to grow at LaSalle Elementary and will expand to include a Grade 4 Girls Basketball Team to go along with the current Grade 5 and Grade 6 Teams. The novice team will then make their long anticipated debut March 28, 2020 at the U10 Tournoi Lucien-Pagé.
This year, the Grade 6 Girls will attempt to win a second consecutive Gold Medal at Les Jeux de Montréal in April. In addition, the girls will continue to compete with various LBPSB High Schools. Last culminated with a great exhibition game with John Rennie High School.
